Authorities Deep Dive

Your authority is how you are designed to make decisions. It is your intuition and helps to discern whether it is your intuition or mind speaking. Your mind is not how to make decisions in human design - this is for processing opinions and creating perspectives. Your authority is pointing you towards your most aligned, beneficial decisions.

There are seven types of Authorities:

  • Emotional

  • Sacral

  • Spleen

  • Ego

  • Self-Projected

  • Mental

  • Lunar (outer authority)

Emotional Authority

Fifty percent of the population have their solar plexus defined (circled in diagram), which automatically gives them emotional authority. These people need time to feel a decision through fully. Their emotions are intel and are guiding them where they are designed to go. They have an inherent emotional wave - high one moment and low the next. Their emotional system fluctuates to no fault of their own or their external world. When they just accept that they are on a low of their emotional wave, they can lean in, treat themselves kindly and let it pass. This is not the time to make a decision.

They need to make a decision when they are clear and calm - in a moment where they feel emotionally neutral. They need to love it in the moment and love it over time. Ultimately it is about following what makes them feel happy, good and smile. Regardless of what it sounds like on paper. Because of their emotional wave, they may never feel 100 percent certain. So at about 80 percent sure is a good gauge.

Sacral Authority

Sacral authority is only available to those who are a Generator or Manifesting Generator (unless they have emotional authority). Those that have sacral authority will have their sacral defined (circled above) and solar plexus undefined. Their gut instinct is their decision maker. Their gut is always communicating to them through their excitement and desire. The mantra, “if it’s not a hell yes, it’s a no” applies. Their gut speaks in black and white and communicates through a visceral feeling that will make them sit up in their chair or squeal in excitement. If they feel expansion in their body, then it is the correct decision for them. If they feel contraction or hesitation, it is a no or not yet.

A Generator or MG with emotional authority must see how their gut responds over time. If they sleep on their gut instinct and still are excited about it in the morning - this decision is correct for them.

Splenic Authority

Splenic Authority lives in the Spleen center, which is responsible for intuition, fears, primal instincts, and timing. A person with splenic authority will have their spleen defined, and sacral or solar plexus undefined. They are designed to make decisions based on their intuitive instinct. The Spleen is responsible for subtle and instantaneous communication. Those with this authority need to learn to listen to their body’s whisper, as it only arrives once. It often will not make logical sense. When something is aligned, it will feel like a deep resonance, as if they are being presented something that is already theirs and true. Their body and intuition has impeccable timing, so it is all about being in the present moment. When they pay attention to what is in front of them, they will sense their spleen. Connecting and resetting in nature is ideal to reset their energy when making decisions. Your “no” response will be very strong so take note of this when it arises.

Ego Authority

Those with Ego Authority have their heart defined, and their spleen, sacral and solar plexus undefined. Those with Ego Authority are designed to make decisions based on what their heart is in. If it is not, it’s not going to happen. This authority is usually for Manifestors and very rarely Projectors. They are designed to make decisions that will benefit them personally and what feels good. They are beings of the material words that are meant to make decisions that will better them personally. This is how they in turn make their contribution to the external world. Nothing is selfish. They need to tune into their heart, no matter what that means.

Self Projected Authority

Self Projected Authority lives in the Identity (G) Center, where direction, love and trust with self lies. It is only for Projectors and rare, 2.5% of the population. They will have their G-Center and throat defined, and heart, spleen, sacral and solar plexus undefined. When a person with Self Projected Authority, they emit a frequency that helps them to make decisions that align with their identity and who they are. Their answer in decision making is revealed through their voice. Their true identity is expressed through spontaneous communication. Getting their thought processing out of the body helps and allows their words to reveal whether they are excited, or disappointed, or neutral about a possibility. If they are manipulating how they act or behave, they are in their Not Self and it is harder to hear their truth. It’s not about saying what they think they should say. It is hearing what they say when they are not thinking. When someone asks them a question, pause first, sink into their heart - this is where the truth lies. Voice noting themselves or asking a friend that knows they need to talk the decision out. No advice is required. They just need to have space to express themselves and their voice and words will reveal whether it's the right or wrong decision for them.

Mental Authority

Mental Authority will only be for Projectors. Their head and ajna, and/or throat are defined, and nothing else. They make decisions based on what makes sense to them. They are similar to Self Projected authority as their intuition speaks through their voice. They are designed to make decisions by talking it out. As a mental projector is very open to conditioning, they should be aware of where and how they were conditioned, release it, and learn how to recognise what they think. They have an undefined Identity (G) Center meaning that they can become their environment and the people they surround themselves with. One way to access their authority is bring the people they trust and use them as a sounding board. This is not about asking them for advice, it is for them to connect with their inner intuition. It’s important to remember that their mind is for bringing solutions, not making their decisions. Whatever sounds exciting or positive when they speak about it, is their correct decision.

Lunar Authority

Reflectors have an outer lunar authority as they have no centers defined. They are connected with moon cycles and need to give their body approximately 28 days to taste and feel a moderate to big decision out. They need to experience a decision or possibility from many sides and angles. Essentially through this process, they are looking for the patterns of how they react and how they are influenced throughout the month. The opportunities or people that feel resonate over a month’s time is the aligned decision for them. When they take the pressure off making quick decisions and allow themselves to take their time, they will find clarity about what and who is correct for them. A slower decision will lead to a faster result.

As a Reflector is very open to taking in other energies and conditioning, they need to be aware if they are making decisions from this place. If 90% of the days throughout the lunar cycle their energy said “yes,” then follow that “yes”.

Life is a series of choices. When we can decide based on what our intuition is telling us (rather than the mind), we are led correctly. Practice tuning into your Authority and see what it says. It is all about experimenting - the more you listen, the easier it will become to trust and follow. Remember you are your own Authority. Only you know what is the right decision to make.
