HUMAN DESIGN GATE 28 DURATION TRANSIT UPDATE
Incoming with this week's update. You may be feeling intense energies, we are currently in the midst of a series of eclipses. It can make you feel like you are in a vortex - struggling to stay afloat. Eclipses are often feel uncomfortable and exhausting, as they are showing you where it is time to step out of your comfort zone. It is highlighting where you are ready to change and evolve. The more change needed, the more intense this time will feel.
Change can be scary, but it is the one constant we have in life. Any change, even for the better, is always accompanied by discomforts. The mind doesn't like change, it involves uncertainty and is unknown. Henry Ford famously said, “If I’d asked my customers what they wanted, they’d have said ‘Don’t change anything.’” To change is to grow, to evolve, to be alive. The more comfortable you can become in the uncertainty of change, the more safe you will feel in life. Change before you are forced to (because your body, your health or the Universe will need to intervene if not).
If you don't like it, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude about it. We are the perpetrators of our own suffering. You can change your future by simply changing your attitude.
Your thoughts and beliefs are powerful and create your reality. Be careful what is being echo-chambered in your mind as this is what you are manifesting in your outer world.
TRANSIT UPDATE:
Right now, we are currently transiting Gate 28 of Duration which feels very fitting. It is an intuitive energy for guiding people into their highest potential. There is a heightened ability to see the big picture, sense what needs to change, and redefining what success and a good life means to you. You may be gaining greater clarity of where you have been playing small, sacrificing your happiness or self abandoning. Take note of the intuitive hits, re-occurring events or synchronicities happening in your world, it is an invite to explore other possibilities and step into your power. I have gotten greater awareness where I was still staying small - and that's no longer going to be my story.
The universe is always speaking to us - sending us messages, causing coincidences and serendipities, reminding us to stop, to look around, to believe in something else, something more.
Eclipses also activate signification change and leaps through the process of letting go and moving away from what is no longer serving us. Whatever comes to mind intuitively that you know deep down is ready to be released, begin to at least be honest with yourself and acknowledging this need. Comfort the part of you that may be resistant to change, or that isn't trusting your own abilities and strength. Remember you have more potential and gifts to give than you think! Start entertaining steps that could be done to begin making small changes towards this different future.
This energy can also bring a fear of failure and rejection. A belief that if you try or change, you will fail. Remember that this voice is not fact. It may feel real because it's your experience, but it is not objectively true. Always come back to your Strategy and Authority - that is the only voice to be trusting at this time.
Please be gentle with yourself during this time. Get the rest you need and nourish your body. You may be craving more time alone so give yourself that space. If you are feeling an emotional rollercoaster, allow yourself to release these energies. Remember emotion is energy-in-motion, more in this podcast. Get the support you need, you don't have to do this all alone.
LET YOUR PAST BLINDSPOTS SHOW YOU WHERE YOU ARE READY TO CHANGE
Many are feeling their body is fatigued and mind busy. What I have witnessed in my clients and myself is a deeper understanding of the parts within that are ready to be shed. This time is shining light on all that needs to be let go to get where we desire (even if you don't know the specifics). Old fears, old patterns, old behaviours - where you’ve been playing small and in lack. Not acting as though you believe in your own potential or vision.
See the themes presenting as invitations & opportunities to take responsibility for what needs to change. When we shift the energy within us, our world responds to us differently.
Remember you don't need to have full clarity or the step-by-step plan of where you are going - you just need to move intuitively in every present moment and it all adds up. Clearing space and redirecting the mind games that are self sabotaging & creating a not-so-desired experience. It's happening for us, not to us.
“The Power of Acting As If”: Showing up to our business, to our relationships, and to ourselves in the energy we wish to embody. Envisioning how your highest self would show up, and be that now. Moving through the world as if it is already assured that it will work out and you have EVERYTHING you need. When I set this intention in my business, in my relationships, with myself - everything shifted for the better. I felt a deeper sense of trust, surrender, self-belief and expansion - because that is my chosen reality.
Have you been playing small in a lack of belief that it is possible for you?
It’s interesting - our enemy is not a dangerous animal or person usually.. But, often ourselves. The voice inside our heads telling us how we should be, what we shouldn’t do, what is possible, what isn’t. The only person that is actually stopping us is ourselves. And our greatest fear is our own greatness. When we put that into perspective, it makes you think: What are we actually so scared of? The voice in our head? Why are we so afraid of our own potential? Well, trust me - your mind is already saying the worst possible things it can say. So may as well give it something to talk about!
When you choose to be expanded by the world, you will be. When to choose to see the reasons why it is possible for you, your mind will let you create it. Choose to be expanded into your next evolution, rather than your mind choosing to constrict.
HUMAN DESIGN TRANSITS: SUN IN GATE 50
The current transit offers us an opportunity to see the themes of the gate within and around you. Today and over the next few days, we are moving through Gate 50.
Gate 50 brings an unconditional loving and supportive energy to others. There is a strong value and intuitive instinct to care for people, and can very much tune into the needs of others. Those with this gate in their chart have a very empathetic and grounding energy. Make sure in this time, to be turning this also inward and looking after what you need.
What can also bring up in this energy is a fear of responsibility, letting down expectations or taking on too much that you can handle (or want to). Cue: over-giving and over committing. When you always feel like you have to give more, more, more - it gets exhausting so we shy away from taking on anymore responsibility.
But the only thing this fear really does is keep you from stepping into your highest, most powerful Self energy. If you stop doing something for fear of responsibility or potential judgment from others, it means you are staying small and shying away from your true desire and essence. Don't fear your own strength, gifts and passion.
Let yourself believe in your own evolution and start supporting yourself to get there.
Reframing Purpose: Embracing Your Unique Journey
In a world that constantly urges us to discover our life's purpose, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the pressure to have a singular, grand mission. But what if this obsession with finding a single purpose is causing us to miss the true essence of what it means to live purposefully? Let's explore an alternative perspective—one that embraces the idea that purpose can be found in every moment, action, and interaction.
The Quest for Meaning
In our quest for purpose, we often find ourselves searching for a singular, all-encompassing answer to the question, "What is my purpose?" This fixation can lead to frustration and disappointment, as we put immense pressure on ourselves to discover a grand purpose that defines our entire existence. Especially those with an undefined G-Center or gate 38 - there is this constant struggle to define your life’s meaning and purpose.
Shift in Perspective
What if, instead of fixating on a single life-defining purpose, we shifted our perspective to view purpose as something fluid and ever-present? Human Design sheds light on this with its concept of the G Center and Gate 38. These elements delve into our sense of identity and the ongoing search for direction, hinting at the idea that purpose can be found in every choice we make. It is not an external thing, but an internal manifestation of being in alignment with who you truly are.
Redefining Purpose
Rather than viewing purpose as a distant, unreachable goal, we can redefine it as an ongoing journey of creation. It's crucial to liberate ourselves from the guilt and shame that can arise from feeling like we lack a clear purpose. Purpose is not something we "find"; it's something we "create" with each decision we make and each action we take.
Your purpose is not ‘one thing’ to define outside of yourself. It’s vibrant. It’s alive. It shifts & evolves as you do. It’s not something you necessarily ‘do’, it is you. It naturally exudes from you whenever you are living in your fullest, truest expression. Every day you are a little bit more you, and share openly & give freely from that place. Release the obsessive search for your purpose, its missing the point. It’s within & is you.
Breaking Free from Limitations
To fully embrace our purpose, we must address the limitations that hold us back. These limitations often manifest as a need for certainty, limiting beliefs, and the fear of stepping into the unknown. By remaining open to possibilities and embracing uncertainty, we can break free from these constraints and tap into our body's intuition.
Embracing the Evolution
The journey toward purpose is not linear—it's a path of exploration, curiosity, and evolution. Just as the seasons change, so too does our sense of purpose. By following the subtle clues and breadcrumbs that life presents us, we may wake up one day and realize that we're exactly where we're meant to be.
Human Design Clues
Human Design recognizes that each energy type has a unique way of engaging with purpose. Your energy type, profile, and individual characteristics all contribute to your sense of purpose. It's essential to redefine success on your terms and align it with your authentic self.
If you're struggling to identify your passions, start by breaking things down. What are you curious about? What activities make you lose track of time? Your incarnation cross and your natural inclinations can offer valuable insights into what moves you on a deep level.
Working out your external purpose doesn't have to be a daunting task. Begin by considering what activities you would pursue even if failure were a possibility. Reflect on what you do consistently and what resonates with you on a profound level. These are often the signs that point toward your purpose.
Embracing What Moves You
Our purpose often lies in what makes us forget about time, food, and even the basics. What scares us the most is often a reflection of what we're here to transform and uplift. Embrace the things that move you on an emotional level—they can guide you toward your purpose.
You Are Your Purpose
Remember this: you are your purpose. By following the callings of your heart, whether they're monumental or seemingly insignificant, you're living your purpose. Embrace the journey of self-expression and growth, and release the pressure of trying to find a single grand purpose.
The pursuit of purpose is a journey unique to each individual. By reframing our perspective and recognizing that purpose is woven into every facet of life, we can free ourselves from the pressure of discovering a singular mission. Embrace the process, trust your intuition, and find purpose in every step you take on this beautiful journey of self-discovery.
IKIGAI, Purpose & Human Design
We are all striving for a sense of purpose in this life. That’s what makes us human. The Japanese have a word and philosophy called “Ikigai” that provides a unique perspective on finding purpose and fulfillment. When combined with the wisdom of Human Design, Ikigai is a beautiful tool for unveiling your true path and harnessing your innate potential.
When I first discovered Ikigai, I loved it. It helped me break down purpose in a way that felt natural and easy. It's not just a word; it's a philosophy that embodies the art of finding joy, meaning, and purpose in everyday existence. The term "ikigai" is derived from two Japanese words: "iki," meaning life, and "gai," meaning value or worth. Combined, they represent the value and worthiness of life itself.
At its core, ikigai represents the intersection of four essential elements that give life purpose and fulfillment:
What You Love: This refers to your passions, interests, and the activities that bring you joy and enthusiasm. It's the things that make your heart sing and create a sense of excitement in your life.
What You're Good At: This element encompasses your skills, talents, and strengths. It's about recognizing and nurturing the abilities that come naturally to you and allow you to excel.
What the World Needs: It involves identifying the needs, problems, or challenges in your community or the world at large. It's about finding ways to contribute positively to the lives of others and make a meaningful impact.
What You Can Be Paid For: This element refers to the practical aspect of sustaining your livelihood. It involves finding avenues through which your passions, skills, and contributions can also generate income.
The true magic of ikigai lies in the overlap of these four elements. When you find the sweet spot where your passions, talents, contributions, and financial sustenance converge, you've discovered your ikigai—the source of deep contentment, purpose, and fulfillment.
Ikigai is not a destination; it's a lifelong journey of self-discovery, growth, and alignment. It encourages individuals to cultivate self-awareness, explore their passions, develop their strengths, and create meaningful connections with others.
It's the sweet spot where passion, work, mission, and profession intersect, nurturing a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment.
The Synergy - Where Ikigai Meets Human Design: Imagine the union of Ikigai and Human Design as a treasure map to your purpose. The elements of Ikigai align seamlessly with the pillars of Human Design, creating a roadmap to guide you on your journey of self-discovery and alignment.
What You Love & Energy Type / Authority: Your energy type in Human Design reflects your unique way of interacting with the world. When you align your energy type with what you love, you step into a flow that resonates with your true nature. By following your strategy an authority you will be led towards the path of least resistance and will be putting your energy into what is aligned and exciting to you.
What You're Good At & Centers / Channels: Human Design's centers represent different aspects of your life, from communication to emotions, that you are here to condition and give to the world. Embracing what you're naturally skilled at, as indicated by your centers, allows you to thrive in your innate talents. Your channels also shows where your energy best flows. When you recognize the ways your energy can contribute to the world's needs, you tap into your channel's power.
What the World Needs & Open Centers: The World needs a lot of help and support. Through your open centers, you have experienced the world at an embodied level. You understand what people go through and what is needed. Use the wisdom and knowledged gained through your open centers to serve your community and the collective.
What You Can Be Paid For & Profile: Your profile in Human Design reflects your role and purpose in the grand scheme of life. Embracing your profile empowers you to channel your talents into a practical and abundant avenue. When you step into the role you came here to be, you will always be supported by the Universe.
To unveil your Ikigai within the realm of Human Design, consider these steps:
Self-Reflection: Take time to contemplate your passions, skills, and what you deeply care about. Align these with the insights from your Human Design chart.
Energy Alignment: Embrace your energy type and centers. Understand how your unique energy can contribute to the needs of the world.
Channel Your Purpose: Explore the channels in your Human Design chart. Recognize how the energy flows within you can align with what the world needs.
Profile Power: Embrace your profile's characteristics and purpose. Channel your innate traits into practical avenues that offer both personal fulfillment and prosperity.
As you align your passions, skills, and energies with the world's needs, you create a harmonious balance that uplifts both you and those around you. Remember that your purpose isn't fixed; it's an evolving journey that unfolds as you continue to learn, grow, and align with your authentic self.
Embrace the wisdom of Ikigai to find your passions, skills, and the world's needs, and weave them seamlessly with the insights of your Human Design. Remember, you are your purpose and any way you wish to exude that is perfect.
Navigating Fear and Intuition: A Guide to Making Aligned Choices
The age old question: is it fear or intuition. There are two internal navigators that often lead the way: fear and intuition. These companions have a significant impact on our decisions, actions, and overall well-being. However, discerning between the two can sometimes feel like deciphering a complex puzzle. We'll dive into the intricate world of fear and intuition, understanding their differences and learning how to distinguish their whispers.
Understanding Fear: Fear is that primal instinct that warns us of danger and keeps us safe. It's the flutter in your chest when faced with the unknown, the knot in your stomach before a big decision. While fear can be a valuable protector, it can also be a limiting force. Fear often arises from past experiences or perceived threats, causing us to hesitate, doubt, or hold back. It's like the overprotective friend who means well but sometimes keeps us from taking calculated risks and pursuing growth.
Embracing Intuition: Intuition, on the other hand, is that inner voice, that gut feeling that guides us toward our true path. It's the hunch that whispers, "This feels right," even when logic suggests otherwise. Intuition is the compass of our authentic selves, tapping into our deeper wisdom beyond what we can rationalize. It's not bound by past experiences or external influences. Instead, it's a direct connection to our inner knowing, often leading us to opportunities and choices aligned with our highest good.
The Key Differences:
Source of Origin: Fear stems from our mind's assessment of potential threats, while intuition originates from a deeper, intuitive sense beyond the rational mind.
Emotional Impact: Fear tends to evoke a sense of contraction, anxiety, or unease. Intuition, on the other hand, brings about a feeling of expansion, clarity, and alignment.
Past vs. Present: Fear often draws from past experiences or future projections, while intuition operates in the present moment, responding to the immediate situation.
Rational vs. Subtle: Fear can be loud, rationalizing its concerns with logical arguments. Intuition is more subtle, a quiet knowing that doesn't always have words to explain itself.
Limiting vs. Expansive: Fear can hold us back and limit our potential. Intuition encourages growth, guiding us toward opportunities for personal and spiritual expansion.
Cultivating Discernment:
Distinguishing between fear and intuition requires cultivating self-awareness. Regular mindfulness practices, such as meditation, can help you become attuned to the subtle nuances of your feelings and thoughts. Notice how fear feels in your body—tightness, tension, unease. In contrast, observe the sense of calm and alignment that comes with intuition.
Navigating Decisions:
When faced with choices, take a moment to pause and check in with yourself. Ask if the hesitation you feel is rooted in fear or if it's your intuition guiding you. Intuition often brings a sense of peace and resonance, while fear may feel more like a storm of doubt.
Remember:
Intuition: Present, Clear, and Concise Inner Knowing: Intuition is a silent, powerful force that operates beyond the confines of logic. It thrives in the present moment and emanates clarity. Intuition guides us through an inner wisdom that speaks with confidence.
Trusting Intuition: An Act of Presence and Patience: Intuition requires presence, calmness, and patience. It's not the voice that yells or criticizes, but a gentle guide that aims to lead you toward the right path.
Fear: Linked with Past Stories, Future Worries, and Insecurities: Fear, on the other hand, is often tied to past experiences, future projections, or underlying insecurities. It can be a limiting force, hindering our growth and preventing us from embracing opportunities.
Recognizing Fear: Demanding, Anxious, Restrictive: Fear often manifests as an anxious, demanding presence. It feels heavy, restrictive, and is characterized by thoughts driven by worry and irrational thinking.
Trusting the Body's Signals: Expansive or Contracted? When faced with a decision, a crucial question arises: Does saying yes to this opportunity make me feel expansive or contracted? This simple inquiry allows us to tap into the body's innate wisdom for guidance.
Your body is a vessel of wisdom that goes beyond rational thinking. By tuning into your body's sensations and responses, you can gain insights into the authenticity of your feelings.
Cultivating the Intuition Muscle:
Questions to Distinguish: To strengthen your ability to differentiate between fear and intuition, ask yourself probing questions. These questions lead you toward understanding the energy behind your choices.
Meditation, communing with nature, stillness, and journaling are tools that can help you develop the skill of discernment. These practices allow you to connect with your intuitive guidance.
Fear and intuition coexist within us, influencing our paths and shaping our experiences. By recognizing their distinct energies, tuning into our body's signals, and practicing discernment, we can navigate life's choices with confidence. Remember, your intuition is a reliable compass, leading you toward growth, authenticity, and alignment. As you learn to differentiate between fear's cries and intuition's whispers, you unlock the key to living a life true to your innermost desires and aspirations.
Planets in your Human Design Chart
Each Chart has a total of 26 “activations” made by the 13 planets. Although there are 64 possibilities of gates that a person can express, they will have 26 activations. There can be overlap where a person has the same gate in multiple planets - this is an indicator that they should focus on this gift and theme. Your soul chose your chart in order to be the person and accomplish what you are here to do in this lifetime.
The black right side of the chart depicts the planets position at the moment of your birth and the red left side of the chart depicts the planets positions approximately three months prior to birth.
Each planet has an archetype / theme & provides a lens to view each gate and profile line through.
Sun
What you are here to share with the world
Your main life force energy - Where you shine in the world. What you’re here to give the world: Your personality, creative talent and power.
The first impression that others have of you.
According to Ra, most of the neutrinos that create the design/personality come from the Sun. Hence - Your profile is determined by the lines associated with sun gates, and why the incarnation cross is determined by which gate the conscious Sun lives in.
Yang energy - go out and do / what others see in you
Earth
What you’re mean to be grounded in
Yin energy to the yang of Sun.
What you need in order to be stable and grounded to accomplish your sun’s purpose.
Through your Earth gates, you bring to form the gifts and lessons of the Sun.
It’s all about receiving the lessons from the Earth gates in order to bring balance and heal.
Energies we get from the Sun and the Earth are always operating together - can’t have one without the other.
North Node
What you are moving towards
North Node is opposite to the South Node. It shows the new territory you’re treading & where you are moving towards in this lifetime.
It is often uncomfortable but it is what you are being propelled to learn and master.
Ways to fulfil your souls lessons and grow/evolve.
Releasing what is no longer serving you.
Step into this ‘true self’ energy as you age.
Came from South Node and by using Strategy and Authority, can decondition and express through your North Node.
South Node
What you are moving away from
Experiences, traits, gifts that you have brought into this lifetime.
What is familiar & already mastered
Your comfort zone & also where you can grow stagnant.
Goal is to take the gifts of your South Node but move into the wisdom/lessons of your North Node. Saturn return vibes.
SN gates shape how you see the world when a younger adult but switches in the middle of your lives.
Do not want to stay in the energy of your South Node.
Moon
What drives you
Internal motivation, inner nature, emotional body, coping mechanisms, sense of belonging, subconscious, inner world.
Moon represents what is really driving you.
Subconscious motivations and your emotional world.
Who you are emotionally and internally.
Propels you forward but also sensitive to emotional ups & downs (emotional authority).
Mercury
What and how you’re here to communicate
Your ideas, thoughts, communication style. What you’re meant to communicate in this lifetime.
Intellect, clear communication, speaking, performing, writing, expressing yourself, curiosity & knowledge.
What you’re here to communicate about and share - How you translate your thoughts into language.
Mercury in Mind column (black): what you need to communicate in this life
Design/Body (red): may be unsure of what you have to communicate but still has something to say. This is where you may find yourself sharing something but we’re not really sure why.
The Gates in our Mercury gives insight into what you are here to share and how you think.
With this awareness, choose which channels and ways to communicate is best for you (i.e. how you are designed to share) - instagram, lives, linkedin, youtube, podcasts, newsletters, blogs, mail.
What energy are you to emulate / talk about when you are using these channels
Venus
What you value
Your values, ideals, aesthetic standards, relationship wants/needs
Morals, ethics, beliefs, self-worth, relationship to material/money, natural partner (attraction), love
Governs how you interact with others and with the world around you
If Venus is paired with Line 4, how you enter into interactions with those you love and those you work with will be super crucial part of what governs and influences your life path
Mars
Passion, desire, aggression and potential immaturity
Your drive, motivation, how you act, connection to your physical body
Areas you may need to mature into
Your opportunity for growth
Mars can be immature until the lessons of growth are taken in as wisdom
Jupiter
All about blessings, gifts, expansion, how you will create abundance in your life, where you receive rewards

It can also point to traits that we have difficult expressing naturally–and even accepting as part of our personality
Uranus
Your individuality, revolution, where you stand out and may be different/weird
May feel ungrounded
Represents suddenness, change, shock, disruption to everyday life
Breaks into time and changes out patterns and status quo
Strong insights, moments of revelation, spurs of creativity
New ideas breaking through older paradigm thoughts
Neptune
Neptune is about what is elusive to you and where your spiritual work is
How you connect with your highest level of both creativity and divinity, as well as your spiritual practices
Affects your creativity and spirituality in the moment
Imagination, psychic sensitivities, connection to mystic — everything unseen and unknown
Relates to the parts of our lives where we refuse to be limited by beliefs or by tradition
Pluto
Potential for growth, truth and transformation
Your intuition, dreams, mysticism, addictions, spiritual genius.
Less personal, more collective
Renewal, and rebirth
It represents endings and new beginnings, as well as spiritual growth and rebirth
More generational energies than personal but each will experience and embody the energy differently
Look to each gate and the planet it is activated by. It will give greater meaning, depth, nuance and applicability to your life. For example, you have gate 47 in your conscious mercury - you are here to communicate and share those realisations that come to you. Or you have gate 46 in your earth - you need to ensure you are feeling balanced and healthy in your mind, body and soul in order to be able to show up and express your sun gifts.
Just play with this all. We dive so much deeper and apply it directly to your life in the Certification or in a Reading. Sending love! xx
Definition in Human Design: how you process the world
Definition describes how the defined centers and defined channels are connected and configured. There are four types: Single definition, Split definition, Triple Split definition and Quadruple Split definition. Each type of definition can have many differentiation of centers, gates and characteristics. I.e. if a group of single definition people, their circuit works in the same way - all energy centers are talking to each other.
Single definition: all defined centers and channels are connected, so the energy can free flow through one circuit - 41% of the population.
Split definition: two separate groupings of defined centers that are not connected - 46% of the population.
Triple split definition: three separate defined areas - 11% of the population.
Quadruple split: four separate defined circuits - 1% of the population.
No definition - No defined centers (a Reflector) - 1% of the population.
Definition shows the way we process things. A rule of thumb, the less separate circuits or groupings of centers (“splits”), the quicker we process information. When we have separate groupings of centers, they aren’t able to transfer information or freeflow energy as quickly. It is like there are two (or three or four) separate conversations at the board meeting. Sometimes they aren’t on the same page or wave length.
Our definition affects how we interact with others and also how coherent our connection to ourselves is. We often seek people that bridge these splits in order to make us feel more “complete”. We particularly feel chemistry with people that have a gate that would bridge a gap between our undefined centers.
Single Definition
All defined centers connected by channels
People with Single Definition process information quickly as there is one freeflow of energy moving between all the defined center. They are all connected in one circuit and talking to each other 24/7. (Being emotionally defined can slow this process due to the need to wait out the emotional wave). They are self-contained, meaning that they aren’t energetically seeking someone to bridge the disconnections in their chart. They are happy to be independent and can often make decisions without other people’s input.
Split Definition
Two distinct groups of connected energy centers
Need more processing time
People with Split Definition have two distinct circuits of energy centers that are not all connected together. The center groupings are not talking to each other so easily, like two separate conversations. They need longer time to process information and come to a decision. They do best by processing with another person through a conversation or even just being in their presence. They like to talk things through with people. They are attracted to people that will “bridge the gap” between their two circuits. It helps them feel more complete and at ease.
There are two subcategories to Split Definition - small and large. A small split is a split of just one “missing” gate between the two circuits. A large split is a full channel or more that would need to be defined in order to connect the circuit board of defined centers.
Triple Split Definition
Three distinct groups of connected energy centers
Need more time to process information and come to decisions
People with Triple Split definition have three circuits of energy centers so have multiple places where the circuits need bridging. They enjoy being around more than one person, otherwise they can feel scattered. This is because it is rare to find someone that will be able to bridge all the gaps in their chart. They need more time to process information and come to decisions. So they should be patient and kind with themselves when reaching a conclusion.
Quadruple-Split Definition
Four distinct groups of connected energy centers
Those with Quadruple-Split Definition need a lot of time and freedom to process information since their defined centers are so separate from each other. They have either 8 or 9 centers defined, which means that they aren’t taking in a lot of energy from the outside world. Instead, they are waiting patiently for the energy to filter its way through their centers in order to come to a conclusion.
Using Human Design in your Business
Below is a snapshot of how you can embody your Human Design in your business. In Human Design, your purpose & how you are designed to show up in business & relationships are all interwoven in your design - it is who you are. Nothing in your chart is separate, it works together. So wherever you show up in life, the same principles apply.
Your purpose is You in your true essence and however you decide to express your innate gifts & serve the people you’re here to (using your Strategy & Authority). Your business is your vessel.
Just because you see other people doing business or life in a certain way, doesn’t mean that is a template for you. Tune within & decide what is most aligned. Go through the prompts and sub in what your placements are & what it means. It can be extremely validating & useful to see it all clearly in front of you.
Gates within the Splenic Center
Gates are where consistent energy exists in the chart. The gates are mapped according to the planetary activations. If a number appears as one of your activations, that gate will be defined and coloured into your chart as the black and red lines.
Each gate has a theme/flavour to its energy. Therefore, if you have a gate activated, it means you hold that gift (and potential) consistently. The combination of all of these gates/gifts creates your energetic aura.
Each gate encompasses a True Self (higher expression) or Not Self (lower expression), so it is crucial to find a balance in the energy evoked in that particular gate.
Whenever looking at a gate, take note of the center it is coming from because it will embody that energy, i.e. all the gates from the splenic center are about intuition, fear, instincts and timing.
Gates within the Splenic Center:
Gate 18: Perfection
Gate 18 embodies the instinctual and intuitive ability to improve and make things better. They can see a pattern and know how it can be improved.
It can also manifest as a fear that nothing will be perfect enough, so they stay small and stuck. They may not take action because of the fear of not getting it right or the fear of judgement of what others will think if they do. There can become a cycle of self sabotaging and repeating the same patterns that are damaging. They can beat themselves up with negative self-talk or being hyper focused on their flaws and mistakes of others.
They need to find a happy medium between seeking to improve, but not setting expectations too high (that nothing will ever be enough).
Gate 28: Risk Taking
Gate 28 holds the lessons of the game of life. They enter into experiences that are highly beneficial and up-level their lives. They intuitively find meaning behind any struggles and alchemising these into wisdom. They can face the hard and dark in life with courage and find a deep joy in overcoming obstacles and finding meaning in life.
Gate 28 can also manifest as a fear of time running out and aging. There is a constant pressure of time, where they feel like they will never accomplish or do what they want to. They can avoid stillness, slowness or silence which can result in risky, impulsive behaviour. There can be a fear of death, especially before they find the meaning of their life. This can mean they easily find themselves feeling hopeless, purposeless and meaningless. If stuck in a victim mentality, life will feel harder or less fair for them (which may feel true if not following their design). They may sink into melancholy or a feeling of emptiness when it feels too hard.
Gate 32: Duration
Gate 32 is the energy of guiding their community into its highest potential. They can see the big picture, sense what needs to change, and is in a healthy relationship with both success and failure. With this perspective, they can undertake projects, lead people or fulfil their goals without getting thrown off by the “failures” along the way. They understand that failure is a part of the process and use their intuition when change or a pivot is needed. They can spot potential success and evaluate the goals, dreams and projects that are worthy and viable to be invested in.
Gate 28 can also show up as a fear of failure. A belief that if they try, they will fail. So instead of listening to their strategy/authority, they stay in fear and don’t push forward. They may be resistant to change, to take risks or trust in their own abilities. There can be a tendency to isolate themselves due to a belief that they must go through life alone.
Gate 50: Values
Gate 50 at its highest expression is a love energy and unconditional support to their community. They are built to take care and support others. They are highly in tune to the needs of others in each situation, while also caring for themselves.
At the lower expression, there can be a fear of failing responsibility, taking on more than they can handle or fear of their highest self. Those with gate 50 do not want to let people down and can be riddled with guilt if they do, especially those they are closest to. Therefore, they are afraid to take on responsibility because they know what that entails. They run away from these responsibilities, which means they do not step into their power or highest self (because they know the responsibility that comes with that). It sometimes might feel safer to play small. This manifests as a fear that if they step into their highest, most powerful Self - then they will be faced with huge responsibility & potential judgment or ridicule from others (i.e. "who does she think she is?!"). They fear their own inherent strength, impactfulness and power because they don’t want to ruffle any feathers.
They need to step into their power, and trust that they can establish boundaries with others. They do not have to be a victim to responsibilities, it is their choice about how much they take on. It is up to them to not overgive, overpromise or babysit other people.
Gate 44: Alertness
Gate 44 gives the gift of intuitively feeling and knowing if people or situations are not truthful. They have an energy that helps them see through bullshit or falseness. They are attuned to truth - they have intuition around patterns; whether the past is worth repeating, or whether it’s about to. They can bring awareness to the lessons from the past so they don’t repeat the same mistakes. They are also attuned to energy so they can create an atmosphere that makes people comfortable. They know how to present things in a way that will be appealing to others
At the lower expression, it can manifest as a fear of the past catching up to them or of repeating past missteps. And/or always looking over their shoulder afraid that what happened before may happen again. They use these past experiences as a “reason” to not move forward. This internal resistance caused from past instances prevents their ability to transform, learn and grow. They need to foster the belief that just because something happened in the past, does not necessarily mean that it will happen in the future and continue to happen. They need to cultivate hope and subconscious belief that things can change and people do change. They have changed.
Gate 57: Intuition
Gate 57 is the most intuitive gate. Those who have this gate have strong intuitive knowing - somewhat seeing into the future. They connect with instant awareness and clear guidance about what is right for them and what is not. They have an intuitive sense for the future - they can see what’s coming next or what problem is coming in the future. It is important to trust this guidance, truth and clarity received in the now from their intuition. Don’t try to explain or logicalise this intuitive instinct.
At the lower expression, they do not trust their intuition or dismiss their instincts because it isn’t based on logic. This lack of trust can lead to trusting other people’s opinions or overriding intuitive wisdom with their mind.
It can also manifest as a fear of the future. They may be prone to future tripping where they worry about what will happen next and seek control by planning everything. They may be hesitant to take action for fear of what might happen and spend their time worrying about potential outcomes rather than trusting their intuition.
Gate 48: Depth
Gate 48 is an energy of courage to do things even if it feels scary. They have an intuitive knowing and understanding of beauty and greatness. They can spot what is missing, when things are incomplete and how they can be made better. Those with this gate typically have taste and aesthetic palate.
At the lower expression, there is a fear that they will never be good enough. It can manifest as a belief that they don’t have what it takes. They can get stuck and not move forward out of this fear, or get hung up in constantly perfecting their skills that they never actually take action. There is a tendency to always seek more qualifications, gurus or worth outside of themselves. This is when they should push themselves to follow their strategy/authority and not let the fear keep them still. They need to jump even though it’s uncomfortable. Over time they will prove to themselves that they do indeed know enough and are entirely capable. They should not turn their abilities of sensing when something is incomplete or not enough onto themselves, this is for the external.
This is a beautiful starting point when beginning to interpret the gates from your Spleen center. If it is coloured in, you have that energy consistently. We want to always be aiming to embody the highest expression, but not judging ourselves when in the Not Self (lower expression). It is all about the journey of coming back into your wholeness.
Profiles
Your profile is your role on Earth - your personality traits, habits, preferred “style” of life and how you best learn. Your profile is presented in two numbers which corresponds to the two sides of each person’s personality. The way we feel internally and what other people see externally. Both parts of our personality, but serve different purposes. Each profile has their own gifts, abilities and role to bring to others. It also contains a predisposition to certain types of insecurities, vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
Your profile is made up of the two numbers located in the decimal point of your conscious and unconscious sun gate, i.e. 5/1 or 6/2. The first number is on the right black side (what you see most in yourself) and the second number is the left red side (what others see most in you). This person below is a 5/1 - they see their 5 line archetype most, and others see their 1 line archetype most. Both archetypes comprise their personality.
1st Line: The Investigator
Those that have a 1 line in their profile are naturally curious, inquisitive and driven to get to the truth of whatever they find interesting. They seek out facts and information because understanding and “knowing” things makes them feel safe and secure. Once they feel like they know a topic, they can relax and feel qualified enough to give their opinion or insight. They investigate, research and study in order to make a firm foundation before spreading their knowledge. The more they know, the less they fear. They always feel best and most confident when they are well prepared and armed with the facts. They seek out authorities and teachers to then become an authority or teacher themselves. Their knowledge is their gift to the world. They are designed to become an expert in their field. They just need to follow the topics and things that are curious and intriguing to them.
The goal is to build a solid enough foundation of knowledge and then share what they know with the world. There can however, be a tendency of imposter syndrome. If they don’t feel qualified enough (which is often), they won’t start. There is a pressure to know everything which leaves them stuck in analysis paralysis. They need to find a happy medium between researching and learning so that they have a wide depth of understanding and knowledge, but also starting before they feel 100% ready. It is impossible to know “everything”, they just need to trust that they know enough and they will continue to learn more along the way.
2nd Line: The Hermit / The Natural
Those with a 2 line in their profile have inherent knowledge and are naturally gifted at something. Certain things come effortless and easy to them, without knowing exactly where they learnt it from or why it comes naturally. They are designed to follow whatever that thing is. Surrender their ease and release the need to explain where they got their gifts from. In order to develop these natural skills, they need alone time to be immersed in their own process. They can often become frustrated if people disturb them while they are in the zone, so they need to set boundaries and expectations with others that they need this immersive alone time. If people do interrupt them, they need to understand that other people work differently so they don’t know about this strong need.
The first step for a 2 line is to see value in whatever comes easily and naturally to them. In society, there is a belief that they have to work “hard” and “earn” their success. This is not the case for a 2 line. Their success comes from leaning into their ease. As it comes naturally to them, they may have a blindspot that it is in fact valuable. There can be a belief as homogenised people that if we find something easy, everyone else does. This is not true - what comes easy to them is not what comes easy to others. If they are unaware of their natural gifts, they should ask their friends and family what they see in them.
Others will often see their gifts and call them out to share. They will always be looking in and wanting what they have to offer, but their shyness and hermit side may mean they do not want to share. Depending on the right invitation or call to action, the 2 line will bring themselves out of their “hermit” introverted side to share. They should use their strategy and authority with this.
Coming into their genius and purpose is not about learning from the outside world but trusting their own gifts and sharing their own take / perspective. Chasing every course, accreditation or external resource will only taint their natural gifts and voice. They are here to share their own unique point of view, gift, talent and perspective. Not another version of someone else’s. Instead of taking time to study outside, they should take isolated alone time doing nothing when they can hear themselves think and get clear on what their thing is. This is the time where they master their craft to present to the world.
3rd Line: The Martyr / Experiential Learner
Those with a 3 line in their profile are the life experimenters and adventurers. They are here to trial and error through life to discover what does and doesn’t work. Through this process of experimentation, they learn the lessons they need, meet the people for them and share the wisdom they've learnt. Life is their school. They can hear from other people or books but in order to truly know if something is right for them or embody a lesson, they need to try it out themselves.
Those with a 3 line in their profile need to be unafraid to try things out and experiment - this is the only way they will reach success. As such, they cannot be afraid of failure. They have to go all in and embrace what they are shown. When operating correctly as true self, there is no such thing as failure for the 3rd line - only discovery. There are no mistakes, only learnings. So it is important that they do in fact learn from their experiences, because life will continue to give them the same experience until they do.
They are deeply resilient. They go through experiences that could break the average person. But the learnings they receive from embodied experience are a gift. They are relatable, personable and constantly evolving - people want to live vicariously through a 3 line. They want to know what they have learnt through their life experiences. They have true embodied wisdom - they haven’t just read it in a book or learnt it from elsewhere, they have gone through it themselves. So whatever they have learnt from those life experiences, they are designed to share.
4th Line: The Opportunist / People Person
Those with a 4 line in their profile are the natural “people” persons. They have a strong and natural gift of forming close relationships. Their purpose and priorities are about creating transpersonal connections and bonds with others. They are deeply influential to their community and always looking for ways to help, assist and give to their people. But not everyone is for a 4th line. They will vibe and get along with some people, and not others. They should not judge themselves or force connections that don’t happen naturally. The people that they do love are for a reason - they are the people they should invest their time and energy into. This is where they will receive their opportunities and synchronicities through.
The quality of their life is determined by the quality of their relationships. They are not designed to entertain relationships that don’t align with them. This doesn’t mean they should be rude, but they shouldn’t force relationships to fit. They can be pleasant and friendly but not feel pressure to want to go to every party or gathering. By following their strategy and authority - they will be guided to their people. They don’t need to go out and create it per se.
Although they like to be surrounded by their people, they do need time to retreat, nurture and rejuvenate themselves. They also need to ask for help when they need it. It is common that they are the person that people have learnt to rely on. They don’t realise that the 4 line also needs to be supported. Therefore, 4 lines need to be unafraid to ask for their needs so that people can step up for them. If they don’t ask, they won’t receive. They shouldn’t hold a tight grip of control on their social group. Release the reins and allow other people to step up for them also.
5th Line: The Heretic / Teacher
Those with a 5 line in their profile are natural problem solvers, fixers and solution creators. They know when to come in, jump in and share their wisdom. Their gift is their ability to bring universalised solutions to people’s problems. They key is that they also retreat as they can’t fix everything, and don’t need to. Just because they can fix something, doesn't mean they always should. They need to use their strategy and authority with this. Let others be in their process, just because a 5 line knows how to “save the day” doesn’t mean they should disturb others. They might need to learn it in their own way.
Those with a 5 in their profile may receive projections from people about how they can help or save them from their problems. It is up to the 5 line to be aware of these projections and only take on what they are comfortable with. A 5 line does not want to let people down and will do anything to help or make something happen for another person.
They can experience projections coming in all the time, from every direction - i.e. the perfect friend, boss or employee, the one with the ability to “save the day”. This allows them to be taken in at first glance by almost everyone and share their message far and wide. But if unaware of the projections being placed on them, they may be flattered and believe other’s perceptions of them being saviours. This can lead to taking on something that’s not actually right for them. Therefore, it is important to only take on roles that they want to and can live up to. They should only sign up to rescue when they are comfortable that they will be able to follow through - use their strategy and authority for this. They need to be very self aware of what they are really capable of solving and saving, and what they want to follow through with. Otherwise, their reputation is at sake if they aren’t able to.
6th Line: The Role Model
Those with a 6 line in their profile have three distinctive life cycles. The first cycle of their lives (0-28/30) the 6 operates as a 3. They embody the traits of a line 3 during this time where they are in a process of experimentation, trial and error and learning from their life experiences.
The second cycle (30-50) involves slowing down, retreating, processing and alchemising everything they’ve learnt. They naturally find themselves reclusing from the World and looking at things differently. Experiences and things from the past start to make more sense and they have a different perspective. This is called being on “the roof”. This time they retreat, observe and discover how the World really works, they re-evaluate life and develop wisdom of how things work.
The third cycle (50 plus) is about re-emerging with their embodied mastery and knowledge to share with the World. At this stage of their lives they have achieved harmony and mastery and are designed to share these insights. They have gained and alchemised so much wisdom that others will naturally seek them out as an example. As such, they embody the role model they were designed to be - this time as their most authentic, optimistic and wise self.
As a 6 line, they need to give themselves freedom and space to explore, refine, and master their thing. They should not put pressure on themselves to have it all figured out from day one. It is a marathon, not a sprint. There is a slight perfectionist streak with high expectations on themselves and others. They see the potential and possibility in people and the World, which can feel heartbreaking if people don’t meet them. They need to remember that growth is a process and redirect this energy to their own projects and path.
Those with a 6 line are seekers, lovers and deeply trusting of people. They are inherently designed to share their wisdom and need to trust that all their experiences will lead them to new “truths”. The way they will discover their purpose when they are a role model to others - they walk the walk and talk the talk.
Bringing them together: Each person has a combination of two of the above archetypes. Each archetypal number applies separately and then when together, creates another meaning. Look to both of yours - you have two sides of your personality. It is about balancing both - they are just as important.

Authorities Deep Dive
Your authority is how you are designed to make decisions. It is your intuition and helps to discern whether it is your intuition or mind speaking. Your mind is not how to make decisions in human design - this is for processing opinions and creating perspectives. Your authority is pointing you towards your most aligned, beneficial decisions.
There are seven types of Authorities:
Emotional
Sacral
Spleen
Ego
Self-Projected
Mental
Lunar (outer authority)
Emotional Authority
Fifty percent of the population have their solar plexus defined (circled in diagram), which automatically gives them emotional authority. These people need time to feel a decision through fully. Their emotions are intel and are guiding them where they are designed to go. They have an inherent emotional wave - high one moment and low the next. Their emotional system fluctuates to no fault of their own or their external world. When they just accept that they are on a low of their emotional wave, they can lean in, treat themselves kindly and let it pass. This is not the time to make a decision.
They need to make a decision when they are clear and calm - in a moment where they feel emotionally neutral. They need to love it in the moment and love it over time. Ultimately it is about following what makes them feel happy, good and smile. Regardless of what it sounds like on paper. Because of their emotional wave, they may never feel 100 percent certain. So at about 80 percent sure is a good gauge.
Sacral Authority
Sacral authority is only available to those who are a Generator or Manifesting Generator (unless they have emotional authority). Those that have sacral authority will have their sacral defined (circled above) and solar plexus undefined. Their gut instinct is their decision maker. Their gut is always communicating to them through their excitement and desire. The mantra, “if it’s not a hell yes, it’s a no” applies. Their gut speaks in black and white and communicates through a visceral feeling that will make them sit up in their chair or squeal in excitement. If they feel expansion in their body, then it is the correct decision for them. If they feel contraction or hesitation, it is a no or not yet.
A Generator or MG with emotional authority must see how their gut responds over time. If they sleep on their gut instinct and still are excited about it in the morning - this decision is correct for them.
Splenic Authority
Splenic Authority lives in the Spleen center, which is responsible for intuition, fears, primal instincts, and timing. A person with splenic authority will have their spleen defined, and sacral or solar plexus undefined. They are designed to make decisions based on their intuitive instinct. The Spleen is responsible for subtle and instantaneous communication. Those with this authority need to learn to listen to their body’s whisper, as it only arrives once. It often will not make logical sense. When something is aligned, it will feel like a deep resonance, as if they are being presented something that is already theirs and true. Their body and intuition has impeccable timing, so it is all about being in the present moment. When they pay attention to what is in front of them, they will sense their spleen. Connecting and resetting in nature is ideal to reset their energy when making decisions. Your “no” response will be very strong so take note of this when it arises.
Ego Authority
Those with Ego Authority have their heart defined, and their spleen, sacral and solar plexus undefined. Those with Ego Authority are designed to make decisions based on what their heart is in. If it is not, it’s not going to happen. This authority is usually for Manifestors and very rarely Projectors. They are designed to make decisions that will benefit them personally and what feels good. They are beings of the material words that are meant to make decisions that will better them personally. This is how they in turn make their contribution to the external world. Nothing is selfish. They need to tune into their heart, no matter what that means.
Self Projected Authority
Self Projected Authority lives in the Identity (G) Center, where direction, love and trust with self lies. It is only for Projectors and rare, 2.5% of the population. They will have their G-Center and throat defined, and heart, spleen, sacral and solar plexus undefined. When a person with Self Projected Authority, they emit a frequency that helps them to make decisions that align with their identity and who they are. Their answer in decision making is revealed through their voice. Their true identity is expressed through spontaneous communication. Getting their thought processing out of the body helps and allows their words to reveal whether they are excited, or disappointed, or neutral about a possibility. If they are manipulating how they act or behave, they are in their Not Self and it is harder to hear their truth. It’s not about saying what they think they should say. It is hearing what they say when they are not thinking. When someone asks them a question, pause first, sink into their heart - this is where the truth lies. Voice noting themselves or asking a friend that knows they need to talk the decision out. No advice is required. They just need to have space to express themselves and their voice and words will reveal whether it's the right or wrong decision for them.
Mental Authority
Mental Authority will only be for Projectors. Their head and ajna, and/or throat are defined, and nothing else. They make decisions based on what makes sense to them. They are similar to Self Projected authority as their intuition speaks through their voice. They are designed to make decisions by talking it out. As a mental projector is very open to conditioning, they should be aware of where and how they were conditioned, release it, and learn how to recognise what they think. They have an undefined Identity (G) Center meaning that they can become their environment and the people they surround themselves with. One way to access their authority is bring the people they trust and use them as a sounding board. This is not about asking them for advice, it is for them to connect with their inner intuition. It’s important to remember that their mind is for bringing solutions, not making their decisions. Whatever sounds exciting or positive when they speak about it, is their correct decision.
Lunar Authority
Reflectors have an outer lunar authority as they have no centers defined. They are connected with moon cycles and need to give their body approximately 28 days to taste and feel a moderate to big decision out. They need to experience a decision or possibility from many sides and angles. Essentially through this process, they are looking for the patterns of how they react and how they are influenced throughout the month. The opportunities or people that feel resonate over a month’s time is the aligned decision for them. When they take the pressure off making quick decisions and allow themselves to take their time, they will find clarity about what and who is correct for them. A slower decision will lead to a faster result.
As a Reflector is very open to taking in other energies and conditioning, they need to be aware if they are making decisions from this place. If 90% of the days throughout the lunar cycle their energy said “yes,” then follow that “yes”.
Life is a series of choices. When we can decide based on what our intuition is telling us (rather than the mind), we are led correctly. Practice tuning into your Authority and see what it says. It is all about experimenting - the more you listen, the easier it will become to trust and follow. Remember you are your own Authority. Only you know what is the right decision to make.

The Mechanics of the Energy Centers
Exciting! You are ready to dive into the extensive world of Energy Centers. The HD chart is made up of centers that hold energy. Each center has a theme of energy running through it - each person either has a center defined or undefined.
A Defined Center means that person has consistent energy in that center (the center will be coloured in the chart). Regardless of who they are around, they have their own energy in this center. If a center is defined, there are at least one or more channels connecting it with another center.
An Undefined Center means that person has inconsistent energy in that center (the center will be white in the chart). Instead, the energy moves fluidly in and out. That person absorbs energy from other people or their environment and amplifies it. They are more open to conditioning and taking on other people’s energy through this center. They will have one or more hanging gates which give the gift of that gate but not the gift of the full channel.
An Open Center means that the center is wide open, with no gates (the center will be white with no lines attached). They are most open to absorption of conditioning and other energies. They have no buffer of their own energy to protect against. They are able to also easily absorb the positive energies that people might carry in this center around them. “Open Centers” is a technical term, it operates the same way as an undefined center. Many use these terms interchangeably.
Our defined centers hold our natural gifts, talents, skills and essences that we are here to teach the world. Our open/undefined centers have great potential for wisdom and learning, as we take in the world and alchemise our experiences into knowledge. Each center has a theme of energy running through it. Below is a diagram for each center. They are loosely tied to the chakras.
Each center has either a True Self higher expression or a Not Self lower expression - it is important if you have a defined center, to keep it healthy or in higher consciousness because you can condition other undefined people. It’s about noticing when you are in the lower expression, and coming back to the higher essence. It can show you where you may be running on your conditioning and strategies to return to your authentic, true self.
To explore more on each energy type’s characteristics, strengths and potential challengers, feel free reach out about the Reader Certification Program or this Masterclass here. This is my favourite and most transformative part in Human Design.
Reflector Energy Type
The Reflector is the rarest energy type - only 1% of the population. All their centers are open - they have no definition, only gates. They are wise observers and reflect what is happening in their community. Reflectors are constantly sampling energies around them making them the true mirrors for society with the greatest potential for wisdom out of all the types. They take in the energy around them and amplify it. Their purpose is to reflect back what is happening in society and the community in which they live. They are a reflection of whoever they’re with and wherever they are.
As a Reflector aborbes and becomes the energies around them, it is important to put themselves in places and around people that feel good. When they follow what feels good to them – being in the right environment & around the right people – the right opportunities come to them. If they are in a place or in company that doesn’t feel good, it is time to reconsider their surroundings and could be a sign to remove themselves. This feeling is not random. The Universe is showing them where to change to align with their dream life.
Reflectors are meant to invest their energy into what lights them up and excites them which is also a reflection of what lights up the people around them. They need to commit to themselves to leave places that don’t feel aligned and follow their call to environments that support them. This is where they will experience all the synchronicities and opportunities the Universe wants for them.
Identity
There is pressure in society to find one purpose, and adhere to one identity. But this defeats the purpose for a Reflector. They are not meant to be just one thing or have one path - they cannot be labelled. Their identity and purpose is always evolving. They feel like a different person every day, because they literally change according to transits and the people they are around. They need to resist the urge to limit themselves by adhering to strict labels or their past identities. Their magic is in their openness and fluidity. They are not always going to show up consistently every day - Some days they will have so much energy, and other days they won’t. They are the ultimate chameleon who shape shifts every day.
Reflector Challenges
Reflectors need to understand that they operate differently from 99% of the population - so always stay in tune with their own body. Energetically, Reflectors are blank slates who are very empathic and open to other energies, so it is important to just sample and not hold onto. It can feel overwhelming if a Reflector carries the weight of the world at all times. They can feel good one day and terrible another. Alone time is very important to release the energy they have picked up in the day and return to their own natural rhythm. If they are feeling perpetually overwhelmed, it is a sign to shift up their environment and people they surround themselves with.
Strategy: Wait for a lunar cycle
Unlike the other types, Reflectors are considered Lunar beings as they are deeply connected to the moon. The strategy for a Reflector is to wait approximately 28 days to make a big decision. This is because they
Every day is different for the Human Design Reflector. They can feel like a different person each day, with different desires, feelings and prospects. So when making big decisions, it’s best to wait 28 days as their perspective changes over time. Waiting a full moon cycle allows them to see how they feel once they’ve moved through the ups and downs and different identities.
Reflectors may feel pressure to make quick or spontaneous decisions, but this will often lead them down the wrong path. To help them get clear, Reflectors need a consistent, trustworthy community in their lives. When Reflectors are making big decisions they may need to talk it out with friends as they have no internal authority. It is important to take their time, see how they feel about the decision over a month, journal about it, and surround themselves with good, supportive people. They need to trust, release and go with the flow - they will be steered in the right direction if they are in the right environments. A slow decision makes a faster result as they get to where they are actually meant to be. Not down the wrong path due to a quick, spontaneous decision.
Not Self: Disappointment
Your Not Self is the signal that lets you know when you're off track.
A Reflector in their not self theme will feel a sense of disappointment. This means they do not feel inspired or surprised by their life and the people in it. It can feel like beauty, awe, specialness and vitality in the world is gone. Thinking “is this it?”. It is often a clue that they need to change things up in their lives - make different routines, be around different people, in different environments. Open themselves up to more synchronicities and beauties that life can bring.
Signature: Surprise
Your Signature is the signal that lets you know when you're on track.
A Reflector’s Signature is Surprise, which feels like a sense of awe, wonder and fulfilment in discovering what is unique and beautiful in the world. When a Reflector is living their design, life will reflect back moments of joy, surprise and lightness. They will be surprised when they experience something they haven’t before - something different to what they ordinarily see and feel let down by. They experience a child-like joy and see the world with a fresh set of eyes, despite being extremely old souls.
Projector: Importance of Presence & Rest
You feel different because you are here to bring difference & change. You lift people up & hold space for those around you, without even realizing you're doing it. The rock in your family. The light in your circle. Your value is in your presence & point of view. Your words & energy carry weight and have a ripple-on effect that permeates deeply through others. By saying what you simply see, you create waves around you. Take the time to stop & look around at the impact you're already making in changing people at a fundamental & biological level. People are left better after being in connection & community with you.
The problem arises when you equate your worth with your productivity. Always being busy takes you away from your greatest value, your presence. When you are present, centered & hone into the details of a person or a project, you make the impact you are here for. You have the power to bring massive transformation & success from one piece of advice, one improvement, one insight, one conversation - that can change the trajectory of another, their path, their relationship & their business forever. Your presence is inexplicably linked with your purpose.
This is why you need time to rest & recluse. You are holding us all up, guiding us forward, healing generational patterns & processing for the collective. Your wisdom is fostered in your 'off' moments - when retreating, pondering, learning, processing. A well-rested Projector is radiant, wise & receptive - reading the room & knowing exactly what is needed. Your ability to guide & lead is channeled from a higher place. Your insights flow naturally & effortlessly when you lean into your craft & get off the hamster wheel of trying to prove yourself.
A funny thing happens when you start believing in your own worth & value - other people do also. They invest their time & money to receive your energy & guidance. All people involved benefit. They feel seen, heard & receive your improvements & wisdom. You feel recognized, successful & purposeful. By looking after your own energy & using your discernment, you create & accept opportunities that propel you towards the people you are here to guide. No longer pushing yourself to burnout, accepting crumbs or needing to be validated by others because you see your own brilliance.
Stop measuring your days by your degree of productivity & start experiencing them by your degree of presence.

Your energy & words bring us forward collectively.
You find true success by taking up space & honouring all that you are.
Projector Energy Type
Beautiful Projectors, welcome. I am so glad you have been reminded your natural essence and way of being. You may have always felt a little different or misunderstood - that’s because the world hasn’t necessarily been set up for you. We need you to not force yourself to mould into societal norms, and instead embrace your magic and wisdom. You are here to guide us forward into the new paradigm. We need you to share what you see and guide what you know needs changing.
Below is all about your energy type and check out my other blogs on Projectors.
Projector Characteristics:
Sacral undefined
No solar plexus, spleen or ego connected to the throat
Anything else can be defined and connected just not sacral
STRATEGY: Wait for Invitation/Recognition
NOT SELF: Bitterness
SIGNATURE: Success
Examples: Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela, Marie Kondo - natural guides that see the bigger picture, or have mastered a system/process and are sharing guidance/wisdom
Projectors are the natural guides, deep conversationalists and advice givers - they make up for 20% of the population. Their brain is wired for efficiency, effectiveness and improvements. They can intuitively see where things can be made better - whether that be projects, people or places. Their gift is seeing clearly into people, systems, processes in a way that others can't. They see the bigger picture and help others use their energy in better ways, whether that’s guiding others, creating more efficiency at a company, mastering a system, or designing a new way of doing things. Each Projector has a special ability or niche of their own. They see what works, what doesn’t and how it could be improved. Their brain and body works in an efficient way. They are designed to guide and direct energy, especially Generator energy. They can get 8 hours of work done in 3, but that does not mean that they should do 24 hours worth of work in 8. This will leave a Projector burnt out and bitter. Projectors work differently.
Projectors are meant to follow what they see so clearly, what they are interested in and what they could talk all day about. These curiosities are where they are designed to apply their seeing gifts. Their job is to make themselves seen and available so the right people can find them. Their success comes from surrounding yourself with people who recognise their gifts and energise them.
Projectors are often drawn to systems that help them better understand people and how we best work and live. When they focus on guiding and improving the way we work and live, the more success and aligned opportunities will present. Rather than giving their energy out all the time or trying to prove their worth, they should take time alone to learn, study, recharge and feel nourished. Balance is key for a Projector - not overworking and getting enough rest.
Projector Energy
As a Projector’s gift is to lead and guide individuals, teams and communities towards success; they are not designed to do all the ‘doing’ themselves. Projectors are a non-energy type due to their undefined sacral, which means they do not have consistent access to energy. However, this does not mean that Projectors are not energetically available to energy or life. They need to be in their zone of genius with people who value their gifts, and their energy will flow.
Projectors are not meant to go, go, go. This leaves them feeling drained, bitter and burnt out. Often Projectors are high achievers so try and keep up with the Generators around them. But they work differently. Some days they have more energy than others - it comes in waves. It’s healthy for them to work when they feel inspired and take rest when their body calls for it. They need to work smarter, rather than harder. The more they exert their energy in a sustainable way with pockets of rest, the more effective and successful they become. One of the keys to sustaining their energy as a Projector is to leverage knowledge by mastering a system, i.e., become a specialist in something. They will benefit by having specific skills through which they offer their guidance.
Regardless of whether they are doing what they love or not - Projectors require rest. They need time alone and regular breaks. This does not mean they are lazy. Projectors may feel uncomfortable or judge themselves for the rest their body needs but it is necessary for their success. During their down time, they learn, observe, take in the world, form perspectives, gain insights, come to conclusions, and receive realisations. This time is crucial because this is the wisdom they are designed to share with others. If they push themselves through their tiredness and don't realise when “enough is enough”, they end up feeling deeply bitter and burnt out. After being around others, it is important for them to recharge and release any energy they have picked up from the day.
STRATEGY: Wait for the Invitation
How to make things happen in your life and move in the right direction
Projectors see deeply into the other and know how to help or guide them. It is natural for them to want to share their insights. But sometimes people aren’t ready to hear it or don’t want to. It’s not up to the Projector to interfere in that person’s process. They need to wait to be invited in by others before offering their guidance or engaging. This sets up the right energy exchange so that the Projector is recognised, listened to and understood. If they don’t wait for an invitation, the Projector will speak and it feels like their advice lands on deaf ears, leaving them feeling bitter and zapped of energy. They will experience resistance when they chase after opportunities.
A sense of recognition and appreciation from others lets a Projector know if an opportunity or relationship is right for them. Their energy and guidance is powerful but precious. An invitation ensures that they only share their guidance with people who are ready to receive their guidance, and not waste the Projector’s energy. It is better for a Projector to conserve their energy and wait until people ask them, so that they will truly listen and appreciate their insights.
An invitation is needed when it comes to giving advice, working with, living with, or dating someone. The big decisions that involve another person. They do not need an invitation when it does not entail sharing their gifts with someone, e.g. starting a business, studying a system, moving countries or creating a product.
Projectors need to be selective about the invitations they accept. Some Projectors feel pressure to say yes out of fear or lack that they won’t receive any other offers. But it is essential that it’s the right invitation, that feels aligned - because if it’s not, the invitation won’t eventuate positively. They need to use their Authority here.
Invitations be a formal offer or it can be energetic. It could be a question, glance, or feeling someone is seeking out their perspective - it is up to the Projector to honestly decipher. If in doubt, simply ask: “would you like my perspective on this?” It gives the other person the opportunity to say no.
Waiting for an invitation is not a constrictive, time-wasting passive act. It is a time to dedicate themselves to what they love - honing in on their gifts, mastering their skills and showing themselves to the World. Once a Projector has developed their craft, their work is to make themselves more visible. People can’t invite them unless they see the Projector. They should share what they do in an authentic way, whether it’s online or in community, so people can find them.
Recognise themselves
In order to receive invitations, Projectors need to recognise themselves and make themselves seen, so that people can invite them. They need to display to others that they are an expert and master at their niche. Each projector has a niche, and something they see are designed to be an expert in.
Signature: Success
Your Signature is the signal that lets you know when you're on track.
A Projector will feel a sense of success when they are aligned.
When a Projector is doing what they love, what they are good at and is being adequately compensated for it - they will inevitably be successful. This is why Projectors have a deep desire to be successful - it is their path. They will feel successful when they are seen, recognised and appreciated for their gifts that help to guide others. They are no longer feeling the pressure to hustle and are allowing themselves to rest and restore.
Success is a tool to remind them that they’re on the right track and to help them keep moving in that direction. But they need to define their own version of success - it shouldn’t be a societal standard of success or familial version of success. This will leave them burnt out and bitter. They need to do their version of success to truly feel fulfilled and recognised. Success does not necessarily mean achievement based - it is a sense of freedom to study what they want, or be appreciated for who they naturally are.
Not Self: Bitterness
Your Not Self is the signal that lets you know when you're off track
A Projector will feel a sense of bitterness when they are giving their energy away to a place or person that does not recognise, value or see them. It is a reminder from the Universe that they are investing their energy in a project, place or person that they shouldn’t - often, they have not waited for the invitation. This does not mean that the job or project or person is incorrect for them, it could just mean that they are over-giving, over-doing, and not allowing themselves to work differently. Bitterness can present from exhaustion and burnout. This is a sign to rest, rather than forcing through fatigue.
The feeling of bitterness can also manifest as a feeling of being taken advantage of, not appreciated, not heard and not seen. It leaves a bad sour taste in Projector’s mouths. They can feel a sense of resentment and feel ignored or dismissed by the outside world. It can show up as “why aren’t they listening to me?”, “why are they doing this all wrong”, “my way is better”. Projectors may try to be giving advice but others aren’t listening. In this case, it is important to go back to their strategy to wait for the invitation to avoid this bitter feeling.
Projectors will also feel bitter if they focus too much on what is wrong. The brain of a Projector is always focusing on efficiencies and improvements, but they need to watch out if they take this too far and are always looking for what is wrong. A Projector will always be able to find something and it will leave them feeling perpetually bitter towards the world and other people.
When the bitterness presents, Projectors need to notice it and look at where they are overgiving their energy, pushing too hard, or trying to get people to value/recognise them. Bitterness is a tool to help align back with their true self and on their right path. The goal is to not eliminate ever feeling bitter, but minimise and see it as a sign to change something up.
Calling all Manifesting Generator Energy Types
Manifesting Generator Characteristics:
Always sacral defined
Also solar plexus, sacral or ego connecting directly to throat via a defined channel
STRATEGY: Respond with gut
NOT SELF: Frustration/Anger
SIGNATURE: Satisfaction/Peace
Examples: Rihanna, Tony Robbins, Jessica Alba - multi-hyphenate people with many passions, l and find success in all
Manifesting Generators (MGs) are multi-passionate and multi-hyphenate individuals, with many different facets, capabilities and interests. They are a hybrid of the Manifestor and Generator. They are designed to follow their gut instinct (like a Generator) but they move quicker and pave their own path (like a Manifestor).
MGs are designed to follow their many passions, which to the outside world can seem a lot. But for them, it is their only and optimal way of being - it is how their system best operates. When they are doing what they love, they gain more energy and could do it all day. If they forced themselves to choose one thing, then they would feel uninspired, frustrated and bored. This is not how we are taught that success happens. We are conditioned to think that success only happens when we choose one thing and master it. This isn’t correct for an MG and will mean they don’t create the amazing things they are here for. They will either combine all their passions into one innovative creation or shape shift throughout their life, taking the skills and gifts from each season into the other. They need to refrain from needing to have it all planned out before they start. Whenever they feel hesitant or afraid of the unknown, they need to remember that this only comes from conditioning that the safer and most viable option. Really this represses all the possibilities and opportunities that could be more fulfilling and lucrative by following their passions over outside expectations.
They are ruled by their gut instinct, which will propel them to many different places that they are designed to put their attention and energy into. They will have many different types of businesses, hobbies, interests - often at the same time. A MG’s path is therefore not linear. Their gut will change - they might be very excited about something and then become bored of it in a few months. This is because they gained what they needed from that thing, and it’s time to move on. A MG is highly capable so will pick things up and master them quickly. They can’t get stuck in doing the same thing all the time as they will become frustrated and bored. Every gut response may not make sense in the moment but it will in hindsight. There will always be a reason, a lesson, a person or an opportunity on the other side of a gut pull.
They move quicker than the rest of the world, so it’s important to not wait for the world to catch up. They are quick to master things and are designed to drop them when they are no longer interested. They need to reframe that this makes them a quitter or pass self judgement that they can't "stick to one thing". They are not meant to be placed in a box as this will feel constrictive, prohibitive and a disservice to their multifaceted self. It is important to own their multidimensionality, so others will mirror this energy and accept it also. Although other people might find it overwhelming to be doing so many things at once, it is right for a MG. They need to give themselves permission to have multiple identities, wear multiple hats and have multiple interests - all of which are equally vital and important to them to feel their best.
When they do what they love, their energy quadruples and ripples out to uplift and inspire others. Their desires aren’t random, they are signposts of where they need to go. Following what “lights them up” is the highest service to themselves and everyone else. Their positive energy will lift and inspire those around them. It's their duty to be energised and excited because it overflows to others. They need to release the pressure to pick a linear path or choose one thing as this will leave them drained and uninspired; and they won't be the magnetic, full-of-life person they were born to be.
STRATEGY: Respond with Your Gut
How to make things happen in your life and move in the right direction
Like a Generator, MGs are designed to respond with their gut. Their gut is providing signals of the opportunities, places and people they should engage with. When they move through the world, they use their five senses to see what delights them and respond to feelings of expansion, excitement and life-force energy. When they feel a positive gut response, that is their body’s signal to go after that thing. If they feel nothing or a sense of constriction, this is not an avenue they should explore just now. As their interests change, their gut response to something will also. Something that was once a positive gut response, may no longer be resonant. It is important to live in the present moment and assess whether the things in their life are still a gut “yes”. If not, it may be time to let that thing go.
Signature: Success
Your Signature is the signal that lets you know when you're on track
The feeling of satisfaction is an indicator that a MG is living their design and following their gut instinct. Satisfaction is a feeling of being lit up by life. They feel like they are using their energy in a satisfying and fulfilling way. They are putting their energy in all their passions, and combining them together in a way that feels satisfying. They are allowing themselves to be the full, multidimensional human being they are, and other people are benefiting from what they are creating in the world.
Not Self: Frustration
Your Not Self is the signal that lets you know when you're off track
The feeling of frustration is an indicator that a MG is not listening to their gut response and doing things out of obligation, commitment or they "should" be doing it. They should take notice if they are huffing and puffing, or if they feel like things are not flowing or working out. This is usually a clue that it's not right for them or they are doing it in an incorrect manner. They will feel less inspired, motivated, excited about where they are putting their energy into. When they feel this, it is an invitation to course correct.
In this instance, they should start to say no to things that are not lighting them up, then they will have more space, time and energy for the "yes's" to come in. It’s just our job to be clear enough to receive them.
Manifesting Generator, never force yourself to stick to one thing or box yourself in. Your path is so wide and expansive that it is impossible to exclusively label. If you forced that, you wouldn’t feel lit up or inspired. When you embrace your non-linear path unapologetically, magic happens. Your power and point of difference is that you keep people guessing and intrigued. You leave people better than when you found them. There is never a full moment - that is what life is all about. You are not here for the same old path that you have seen others do. When your energy stagnates, give yourself permission to change things up. You inspire others to do the same. To change is to evolve.
Generator Energy Type
In Human Design, there are five different energy types. There is the Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector and Reflector. Your Energy Type identifies who you are and the way you exchange your energy with the world. It is also the way you manifest potentials into reality.
Everything in life is an energetic trade - Each energy type has a specific type of way to exchange energy with the world around you. When you live according to your energy type, you experience more flow and ease, and less resistance and struggle. You also align with opportunities, people and places that are right for you. When we try to live as another energy type, this is where things don’t work out as expected.
Each energy type has a:
A Strategy - way you can maximise and attract opportunities and synchronicities.
A ‘Not self’ - the qualities and feelings you experience when you are not living your energetic design. We want to minimise our time in our Not Self.
A “Signature” - how you will feel when you are living their design and following your strategy / authority. We want to maximise our time in our Signature.
GENERATOR
Generator Characteristics:
Sacral defined
But no solar plexus, sacral or ego connecting directly to throat Via a defined channel
STRATEGY: Respond with gut
NOT SELF: Frustration
SIGNATURE: Satisfaction
Examples: Beyonce, Oprah, Jennifer Lopez - people who are extremely magnetic, follow their passions and successful in their craft
As the name suggests, Generators are here to generate positive, uplifting energy. They do this by creating and building whatever their gut is excited and lit up by. It will be different for each Generator - their gut will uniquely be excited for what they are meant to do and follow. If they want to live their purpose, they need to do more things that their gut is viscerally pulling them towards - this is the direction they are supposed to go. It defies logic or rational thinking, so it takes self awareness and trust. When they follow their passions, they gain more energy and become the magnetic, inspiring individual they were born to be.
Their gut is black and white, and speaks in absolutes - if it's not a "hell yes" then it has to be a "no". If it is a "oh maybe" or "I guess", that is considered a no or not right now. They need to be ruthless to let go of what doesn't excite them and follow only what invigorates them. They need to trust that their wants and desires are their compass. They are the natural hustler and doer of society - but only when they’re passionate about what they are doing. They are here to redefine what work can look like - combining work with pleasure.
In order to be living their human design, Generators need to assess and evaluate when they are doing things out of obligation or because they feel like they “should” or “have” to. This is steering them off their path and means that they start feeling frustrated, uninspired and burnt out. Their energy is best used when satisfying their own pleasure or propelling their project, relationship or career forward. They are ruled by their sacral chakra which is all about pleasure and desire, so they need to release any guilt, judgement or shame of being “selfish” or "silly" for following their desires. It’s actually the opposite because they make others around them feel more energised, excited and inspired when they are generating this good energy. When a Generator follows their gut and does what's exciting to them, people want to be around them. They magnetise aligned opportunities, jobs and people. When something drains or bores them, they become a shell of the person they are meant to be.
Generators are not designed to chase, they attract what is right for them. They have an attracting aura and a juiciness to their energy that pulls people towards them. They are here to dance with life and engage their energy to move their community forward in a way that is meaningful to them. When they are doing what they love, people can’t get enough of them. The key to being magnetic and attracting is to respond with their gut.
STRATEGY: Respond with Their Gut
How to make things happen in your life and move in the right direction
When making decisions, Generators need to always respond with your gut.
Generators are not meant to just "know" what they like. They need to give their gut something to respond to through their five senses via an outside stimulus. For example, a person talking about a project, something on the radio, an instagram post about a course, food at the market. Generators need to give their gut something to respond to. They need (or a friend needs) to give options to their gut by asking questions. As their gut is black and white - only answers yes or no. So ask closed questions. It is the first response they feel, everything after is their mind and self doubt interfering. Generators need to move openly through the world to see what lights them up, then say “yes” to the positive gut response and “no” to the opposite. Release the pressure to have it all figured out before that gut response.
Generators need to pay attention and listen to their visceral sacral response. If it is right or good for them, they will feel expansion in their body and a surge of energy towards it. If they feel contraction or hesitation, it’s a no or not yet. It can be a good exercise during a meditation to think about the possible decision or opportunity - and see how their body responds. Is it an expansive feeling or a contracted feeling?
Once there is a positive affirmation from their gut, they can go out and get that thing. Generators are designed to trust their gut response, even when it doesn't "make sense" or can map it out where it is taking them. It always makes sense once they look back in hindsight. Whether it be an opportunity, a person, a skill, a lesson - the gut has their greater good in mind. It can be beneficial to start making small decisions with their gut to learn to trust it. Or looking back at past times their gut was right about something to help strengthen their trust muscle.
Not Self: Frustration
Your Not Self is the signal that lets you know when you're off track.
The feeling of frustration is an indicator that a Generator is not listening to their gut response and doing things out of obligation, commitment or because they "should" be doing it. They will feel frustrated, bored and uninspired. It can also feel like an energetic frustration, i.e. like a kink in their energetic hose - nothing is flowing through. Things aren't moving and they are experiencing resistance and push back.
If a Generator is tired, exhausted, or burnt out - they are not as good to themselves or anyone around them. We need Generators to be lit up and doing things differently, so they need to give themselves permission to do so. They will then be the inspiring, energising and magnetic person they are meant to be.
They should take notice if they are huffing and puffing. This is usually a clue that where they are putting their energy in that moment is not right for them, or they are doing it in an incorrect manner. When they feel frustration, it is an invitation to pivot or change how they are doing something as it’s draining their life force energy.
Recommendations:
Step 1: If a Generator is frustrated, uninspired or burnt out - it is beneficial to look at where they are saying ‘yes’ to things they are not excited by. These can be big or small things, from their job or relationships to school parent/teacher meetings or grocery shopping. The Universe does not recognise size, but rather they are making decision ruled by the gut and not their head - ie. being caught up in the “shoulds”. It is about having an inquisitive mind and just being real with themselves - making the unaware aware or the subconscious conscious. They don’t need to make any big decisions but it is about being honest about whether their energy is best used there.
Step 2: Generators need to start saying ‘no’ to things that are not lighting them up. Although this can be scary and intimidating, this clears up space, time and energy for the "yes's" to come through. It’s the Generator’s job to be clear enough to receive them. Start small and clear space, for example - do they actually enjoy their morning routine? Can they delegate something they don't enjoy?
Step 3: Make a list of all the areas that excite them in life, again big or small. How can they incorporate more of these activities in their life. Remember their energy is the same at home and work. If they are feeling satiated and satisfied in their personal life, this can radiate at work, resulting in greater success and enjoyment.
Step 4: Get more connected to their gut. It is like being in a relationship - they need to develop understanding, listen and trust what it has to say. Start an open dialogue and experiment with smaller things - food, environment and daily activities. Try experimenting for a week of only following what their gut says "yes" to, and see how it feels and what happens.
Signature: Satisfaction
Your Signature is the signal that lets you know when you're on track.
The feeling of satisfaction is an indicator that a Generator is living their design and following their gut instinct. Satisfaction is a feeling of being lit up by life. They feel like they are using their energy in a highly satisfying and fulfilling way. They feel excited when they wake up in the morning to do things that please them, big and small; and go to bed with a satisfied sigh. At the end of the day, it is very satisfying for them to complete the tasks that moved them closer to completing an end goal they are passionate about. It also indicates that they are honouring their decision-making process by listening to their gut instincts.
Follow your sacral response Generator. You are here to be a master at what you do. Yes, there will be times when things stagnate and plateau, but that is pushing you to your next uplevel. Take space in those times and gain a higher perspective. We need that life force energy flowing through you. Create what you feel called towards. Your gut instinct is not random or by accident, we need you to follow it.
With love,
Hillary x
So, you are a Manifestor Energy Type
MANIFESTOR
Manifestor Characteristics:
Sacral undefined
Throat defined
Either or combination of Solar plexus, Spleen, Ego are connected to throat
STRATEGY: Follow Urge/Inform
NOT SELF: Anger
SIGNATURE: Peace
Examples: JK Rowling, Adele, Gloria Steinhem, most rulers in history - people that have created a movement and brought impactful change to the World.
Manifestors are the second rarest energy type (11% of the population) with the biggest, most impactful aura. You can feel their energy when they enter the room. They are the initiators who are here to make an impact, create change and blaze a trail. They are here to rally energy and create momentum in a new direction, in which others can follow and join. They start something new or create a movement that can shift worlds. Their energy is big, impactful - and for good reason. In order to get the ball rolling into a new direction, they need the energy to match it.
Manifestors can be quite independent, they like to go off and do their own thing. They can have lone wolf energy. Their freedom and autonomy is of high value to them - a core need. They are designed to be unapologetically themselves. Whether that is “too much” for people, that is not the Manifestors problem. The key is to refrain from people pleasing or doing things in order to be liked. They need to resist the pressure to dim their shine and smallen themselves to make other people more comfortable. Then, they will lose their power and potency. They may have been told that they were “too much” or “too intense” but this is their gift. It is how they are going to create their impact. They are here to embrace their bigness and impactfulness by doing exactly what they want. They deep down know that they are here to make an impact and shake things up. When they go off and do their own thing, they shift their community and the collective. Their people that love and support what they are creating will follow.
Manifestors must release any pressure to explain, apologise or seek permission for what they are doing. If they want something or feel called to create a new thing, they need to just go for it. Refrain from persuading or trying to get people to understand or make sense of it at first - people don't usually understand innovation until after someone has gone and done it. Their urge to do something is enough of a reason. They need freedom to create and move - the worst feeling for a Manifestor is to be micromanaged or constricted.
STRATEGY: Inform others and follow their urges
How to make things happen in your life and move in the right direction
A Manifestor’s strategy is to follow their urges and inform others. They are designed to follow their inner urge to just go off and do their own thing. They need to trust that their urges will start the momentum of what they are here to do. They do not need to wait for collaboration from the Universe or others in order to act. They have an impulsive energy not driven by anything but the Divine expressing through them. This does not involve asking other’s permission or opinion. However, they do need to let people know what they are creating so that they can support the Manifestor and feel connected to them. If they do not let people in on their process, their friends and family may feel left behind or disconnected from the Manifestor and their creations. Manifestors can forget to inform people as they are focused on their own lane, but it makes their lives easier if they let people in on what they are doing.
Informing
In order for the right people to be magnetised to them, Manifestors need to let them know what they are working on or thinking about. By informing others they allow their people to find them. Informing is not about asking permission or advice. There can be a fear for Manifestors that people won't get it, or will question, interfere or criticise. But the Manifestor needs to trust that if they show up with unapologetic energy and acceptance of their own urges and creations, their people will respond with the same energy. Remember, their ideas are not for everyone - the right people will love them.
How to know if it is an urge or a thought:
Urges are very specific. It is a deep feeling of wanting to do something that comes out of nowhere and can’t describe why you should do it. For example, a Manifestor may have an instinct or urge to start a business that randomly comes to mind. It is not their mind reverse engineering and telling them that “I should start a business because it is the only way to be successful and make money". This is their mind trying to take control.
An urge will be spontaneous, in the moment and will be accompanied with a surge of energy to carry that urge out. If they do not have the energy, it means it is not the time to act yet.
It is beneficial for a Manifestor to have a career where they can share their own personal urges with other people at all times. They’ll feel the freedom and autonomy to be able to create and thrive.
Signature = Peace
Your Signature is the signal that lets you know when you're on track.
The feeling of peace is a sign when a Manifestor is living your design. When they are doing what they want, creating what they envision, and following their urges - they will feel a sense of peace. No one is micromanaging them, pressuring them or trying to put them in a box. They are also not putting expectations or pressure on themselves or their creations to be a certain way, and allowing their urges to guide them. Although they are natural leaders, they don't want to micromanage or have many people to answer to - they want to have the freedom to do their own thing. When they have this autonomy, they are able to spread their wings and be their most powerful and impactful. They need to trust that things will unfold how they are meant to, and that if they have the freedom to follow their urges, they will feel inner peace and space to breathe.
Not Self = Anger
Your Not Self is the signal that lets you know when you're off track.
The feeling of anger is an indicator that a Manifestor does not have the freedom to create, follow their urges or be who they truly are. This will pop up when they feel someone or a situation is trying to control them or obstruct their action. If someone gives them strict orders, it can feel wrong on both ends. It is essential that they be in control of what they are doing and for others to allow that. This can be tricky in work or personal relationships but it is important to have conversations with others so they understand their need for autonomy and freedom - whether that means managing their own projects or having the freedom to work creatively without heavy restrictions. Manifestors need to take their anger as a cue to assess where they aren’t following their urges or where they may be holding themselves back from their greatness and impactfulness - as they know deep down they are here for that.
Be so unapologetically You and move towards the big vision you have. The world needs you and your creations.
Love,
Hillary xx
Human Design 101
Human Design is a modality and practical tool to help understand, accept and love yourself. It gives insight into who you are, what you are here to do, and how to create your dream life. Its main application is to shed light on your energetic makeup by giving practical steps to tap into your intuition, leverage your gifts and use your energy in order to thrive in your work and relationships. The goal is to reduce resistance, struggle and self criticism that many are experiencing in current modern day life. It empowers you to live a life true to you, rather than according to other people’s perspectives or societal conditioning.
Human Design was founded in 1987 by Ra Uru Hu who created a master blueprint of your energetic, highest Self by combining ancient wisdom (the I Ching, astrology, Kabbalah, chakra system) and genetic physics (neutrinos). At birth, each of us receive our unique Human Design blueprint. It is a reflection of ourselves - who you were as a child and the person you came here to be. It reminds you of everything you know deep down about yourself but may not have felt confident or worthy enough to trust. It gives awareness and support, particularly when we forget our true authenticity or get lost down the wrong path. Your blueprint captures specific details about what makes you uniquely you: your strengths, your weaknesses, your traits, your energetic needs, your gifts, your intuition, your roles, and many other elements that make up who you are. When we lean into who we are, this is where success lies.
Through the process of “deconditioning”, you can release all the stories you told yourself you “should” be and return to who you naturally are. It gives permission to follow your passions and harness your gifts, because these were not given to you by accident. They are to be embraced and followed. When you live in alignment with your true nature, things feel better, flow better and you have greater acceptance for who you are, instead of chasing who you are not - meaning you are able to live out your real purpose in the World.
Human design empowers you to live a life true to you. It is regarded as an experiment - you can try living your design and see how it feels. You can always decide to go back to your old ways. But often once you have a taste of living by your own authority and autonomy, you usually don’t want to go back. It is a body consciousness modality where all the answers lie in the body and intuition, so aligning with this wisdom is the only reliable compass towards our path.
Deconditioning
One of the primary goals of Human Design is to ‘decondition’ by letting go of all the ways you are not being yourself. Deconditioning is identifying and unlearning the limiting beliefs and cultural expectations/norms that we subconsciously live by until we unravel them.
Conditioning comes from our families, school, the media, and society. I.e. you can’t make money from your art, or you aren’t going to be successful unless you hustle. There are thousands of examples of conditioning and often as a child, we pick up these conditioned beliefs and believe them as fact. The problem arises when we make decisions based on these conditioned beliefs, rather than what we actually feel or think. Deconditioning is questioning these beliefs and instead of looking outward to make decisions, to look inward.
What can Human Design give you?
// Permission to be your true, authentic self. There is a reason you are exactly how you are, so the key to your unique path to success is simply by embracing your true self, your desires and your natural abilities.
// How to manifest by following your own energetic strategy & authority (the easiest way to create the life of your dreams.
// Confidence and clarity around your innate gifts & skills. Work & life can be so much easier if we embrace what we are naturally good at.
// Trust in your own unique decision making process, so that you can tap into your inner wisdom. Our bodies have innate way to guide us so it is the only thing we should be following. Not outside noise & self doubt.
// Awareness of fears that are holding you back. This gives intel of what you need to step through to help magnetise what you want.
// Knowledge of how to best use your energy, so you can truly work smarter, not harder - without the self judgement and doubt.
// Greater sense of deeper love in relationships (romantic, business, family) as you understand and honour how others work. When we are aware of the best way to interact with the world, and other’s energies, we can create the relationships we desire.
// More self acceptance, trust and love. Less self judgement, criticism and self doubt. No longer forcing things to fit or thinking something is wrong with you.
// Lifestyle tips uniquely suited to you such as your best sleep, diet, environment and exercise. No more guessing games or listening to outside advice. Your body is different to others - start doing what’s right for you.
At the end of the day, Human Design shows you where and how to access your body’s consciousness as a decision-making tool. All the answers are within us, so if we can take a backseat and follow .our intuition, we are guided to a more fulfilling and purposeful life. It is an Experiment, try it out and see how it feels to live aligned with your design, even just for a week or two. (Spoiler: it’s highly unlikely you will want to revert back).
Navigating Your Life's Purpose: Exploring Human Design Incarnation Crosses
In the intricate tapestry of Human Design, there exists a profound concept known as Incarnation Crosses—an integral component that unveils the unique path and purpose you're destined to embrace in this lifetime. I will be diving into the beautiful world of Incarnation Crosses, discovering how they provide insights into your journey, potential challenges, and the transformative impact you're here to make.

At the heart of Human Design lies the Incarnation Crosses, which combines your Sun/Earth gate and your Personality/Design gates. These four gates come together to form your unique cross—an embodiment of your life's theme, purpose, and energy signature. Your Incarnation Cross offers a roadmap that guides you toward fulfilling your potential and making a meaningful contribution to the world.
The Four Elements of an Incarnation Cross:
Your Incarnation Cross is made up of your four most important and prevelant gates (contains over 70% of your energetic neutrinos). Stepping into these gifts and following your strategy/authority, you will awaken to your Incarnation Cross naturally.
Sun Gate: This represents your personality's conscious energy, shaping how you express yourself and interact with the world.

Personality Gate: Your Personality gate adds depth to your conscious energy, shaping your unique characteristics and tendencies.
Design Gate: The Design gate reveals the hidden layers of your unconscious energy, offering insight into your potential gifts and obstacles.

“Our Incarnation Cross isn’t something that automatically emerges as we go through our deconditioning process, nor does it provide instant gratification...when we function as our differentiated self in the world, our cross literally but quite naturally takes over our life...we don’t awaken to our cross, we awaken in it.”
